My son was a freshman and an out of state student.  I heard of the retreat from another parent – and it was literally divine intervention. I signed him up not really knowing a lot about it.  Suffice to say his time at the retreat was both grounding and transformational.  He literally handed over “finding his people” to God while he was at the retreat and I picked up a kid who was no longer carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Additionally, he really connected with his counselor and the guys in his group, loved hearing from all the speakers and learning about the local churches and he’s gone to church both Sunday’s he’s been there!

It was such a beautiful thing to watch my son find his footing through the retreat and for that footing to be what has started him off with joy, confidence, and faith in these first weeks at college. Thank you for dreaming this dream and for bringing the dream to life so kids like mine can be reminded that God is God and He is there to love you and strengthen you in Truth even when you leave home and go to college.
